The List of Ingredients Prohibited in Cosmetic Products specifies the ingredients prohibited for use in cosmetics in Taiwan. Periodically updated, the recent revision, comprising a total of 659 provisions or amendments, was released on March 21, 2024, and became effective on January 1, 2025 (except for the amendments regarding "cells, tissues, or products of human origin," which took effect on March 21, 2024).
