Main Content：
This Regulation amends Annexes II, III, V, and VI of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. It prohibits 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, introduces new restrictions on retinol derivatives, genistein, daidzein, kojic acid, α-arbutin, and arbutin, and narrows the scope of use for Triclocarban and Triclosan as preservatives. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.Point (4) of the Annex shall apply from 1 May 2025.
