This amendment is a revision of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 regarding the labeling of fragrance allergens, adding 57 new individually labeled fragrance allergens. The new labeling requirements have transition periods of 3 and 5 years, meaning that cosmetic products not complying with the new regulation will be banned from being placed on the EU market after July 31, 2026, and banned from sale after July 31, 2028.This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
