Notification of the Ministry of Public Health: Use of Piperonal in Cosmetics

The notification stipulates that, effective from the date of publication, cosmetic products containing Piperonal as a fragrance or flavoring agent shall comply with the following conditions of use. Maximum Concentration: The maximum permitted concentration in cosmetic products is 1% (w/w). Conditions of Use:The concentration of piperonal in raw materials shall not exceed 10%；Raw materials containing piperonal shall be restricted to use as fragrances or for skin care purposes only.
