China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) Issues Public Consultation Notice on Three Draft Cosmetic Standards Including "Mercury and Its Compounds (Draft for Comments)"

On November 17, 2025, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) issued a public consultation notice to further improve the technical standards for cosmetics. NIFDC has organized the formulation and revision of three draft cosmetic standards, including Mercury and Its Compounds (Draft for Comments), which are now open for public comment. Stakeholders are invited to submit their feedback through the Cosmetic Standards Development and Revision Management System by December 12, 2025, in accordance with the relevant requirements.
