EU PFAS under the REACH Candidate List

EU PFAS candidate list is made based on Restriction proposal on PFAS announced by ECHA, which selects PFAS substances based on their number of fluorine atoms. In the Restriction proposal, PFAS substances refer to any substances that contains at least one fully fluorinated methyl (CF3-) or methylene (-CF2-) carbon atom (without any H/Cl/Br/I attached to it).
