CIRS Reminder

The results of cosmetics regulatory sampling inspections across many regions of China in September 2026 show that problems such as excessive microbial content, illegal addition of prohibited ingredients, and non-compliant contents of restricted ingredients are relatively concentrated. Meanwhile, problems such as inadequate implementation of compliance management by business operators still exist in the market.

CIRS hereby reminds relevant enterprises to keep a close eye on industry regulatory trends, carry out raw material control and formula review against the typical problems identified in sampling inspections, and screen for potential compliance risks in a timely manner. Enterprises should strictly abide by the Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation and relevant technical standards, so as to avoid quality problems and compliance risks at the source and comprehensively build a solid bottom line of quality safety and compliance.
