EU-List of preservatives allowed in cosmetic products

The EU List of Preservatives Allowed in Cosmetic Products is outlined in Annex V of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which establishes the regulatory framework for cosmetic products in the European Union. This list includes 60 preservatives that are allowed to use in cosmetics.The list also specifies the Chemical Name/INN, Name of Common Ingredients Glossary, CAS Number, EC Number, Colour, Product Type and Body Parts as well as Maximum Concentration in Ready for Use Preparation for Each Substance.
