The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) of Japan has established the List of UV Filters Allowed in Cosmetic Products under the Standards for Cosmetics. To safeguard consumer health and ensure product quality, the use of specific UV filters is allowed under defined conditions.

The list includes 34 UV filters allowed to use, each accompanied by detailed information such as the Ingredient Name, INCI Name, CAS Number, Maximum Concentration in Ready-for-Use Preparations, etc.
