Introduction

Below you can search for the name of a substance as it is referred to in the Cosmetics Regulation or for the name of an ingredient and/or fragrance listed in the inventory for labelling purposes.
CosIng allows also users to search for relevant CAS and EC numbers.
The current data in the database can be found under the default status as “active”, whereas historical data have the status “not active”.1 – CosIng inventory includes historical information from the former ‘Inventory of Cosmetic Ingredients’ (established by Commission Decision 96/335/EC, repealed with effect from 8 May 2020).
